- Advise client if they are eligible to apply for the visa category they are interested in and give them the form.
- Advise client as to the documentation they should provide for the embassy / high commission.
- Inform client on the procedure for submission of application.
- Inform client of the appropriate visa fee.

- Go through all documentation with the client and advise if additional documentation required.
- Assist client in drafting any letters that may be required.
